This Irish bar in New York has an insane food menu that will make all Irish people drool
PASSAGE IRISH BAR and Kitchen is an Irish bar in Queens, New York, that’s doing some rather amazing things with Irish food.
Named for the village of Passage East in Co. Waterford where owner Michael Mansfield originally hails from, the bar prides itself on its whiskey offering, authentic Irish vibes and its unique culinary creations.
Let’s take a gander at some of them, shall we?
First off, we have the Irish Breakfast Flatbread.
That’s sausage, rashers, beans, black pudding, white pudding and eggs on an “Irish brown sauce flatbread”.
How very notions of them. (But also, we kind of want it.)
There’s the black pudding burger
You hear that? It’s the sound of every hipster café in Dublin adding this to their menus.
Hold on to your hats, because they also do a curry shepherd’s pie
It’s exactly what it sounds like. Shepherd’s pie in curry (read: Irish curry, not Indian curry) sauce. The comfort food of your dreams.
The Baked Guinness Mac N Cheese is arguably the most photogenic item on their menu
What’s that pink stuff, you ask? That would be the “Ardash strawberry wine cheese crust”.
CAN YOU EVEN?
Move over, Supermacs — they do curry cheese chips as well
Jesus, Mary and Joseph.
BACON AND CABBAGE DUMPLINGS!
Genius.
Now, we’re not going to lie: the sausage rolls look kind of rank
Maybe it’s just us, but we don’t like the ends of the sausages poking out like that.
But we’ll forgive it because at least they stick sausages in the Bloody Marys
Unreal, tbh.
See you down Astoria next weekend, yeah?
